Writing Writing Writing

Well the title says it all. We are working harder everyday to dish out our new songs for our 2008 album. We have our demos and are STILL making new songs. It won't be much longer now.

It has begun... tomorrow RDR will take our first steps in the recording process for our Untitled album. We are still writing and making the best songs we possibly can and continue to due so through this first step. Hope everyone will love what we are making, maybe you will even get a preview of a few songs..... till next time.

As you might know, we have cut down our shows to the bare minimum and are now in our studio everyday writing the news songs that wlll be occupying Run Doris Run's untitled (so far) full length album. We are heading home and on our way from portland to california. We will be in Fresno by tomorrow at the Warped Tour and cant wait to be in our home state. Its been a long tour. We just enjoyed a 2 day break from shows but now it is time to pack up and stop relaxing for four more dates. Hope to see you all in Fresno...or Sacramento....or San Diego.....or LA.

Rain Rain go away

Here we are in Houston Texas. We awake to a crazy lightening storm that CANCELS todays warped tour. Uh oh. but its ok, tomorrows day off has been replaced with a make-up warped tour indoors, so nothing can go wrong with the weather. So we are relaxing right now and enjoying our day off and cant wait for a nice day indoors tomorrow away from the heat. Remember to come find us and say hi!

Yo party people. Another successful day at warped tour. Our sunburned shoulders can tell you we were in the sun all day. As you probably know RDR doesnt have a set schedule for stages and times but for both the first and second Warped Tour dates we got to play on the official myspace stage. We met a lot of people and sold a lot of cd's and we all hope to meet more of you all at each date. Mt. View here we come.

We are off

Well its that time that Run Doris Run heads out on the road to start the 2007 Vans Warped Tour. We are on the road to Pomona right now for the kick-off to the tour. The first concert is tomorrow at the Pomona Fairgrounds and we hope there will be a lot of people to support us and to talk to us. If you see us be sure to say hi!

...till the Vans Warped Tour starts in Pomona. We are all excited, our bags are packed and we are getting ready to load up our trailor and hit the road. We start locally and move our way up California to CANADA to hang with all the frenchies!

Also, to keep everyone in the loop about what we will be doing on the Vans Warped Tour this year, we got ourselves a new HUE webcam and will be posting a video blog on the HUE cam website about 2 times a week. Hope you will be watching! (more info to come)

Album

RDR has been working hard to write new songs for our full length album planned for 2008. Currently we are in the recording studio working on demos for our songs, so be ready for a new RDR next year.

Getting ready for Warped Tour

Well it's been a while since our last update but we are busier than ever. RDR is currently writing song after song in our studio preparing for our full length CD (2008). Not only that but everyday holds a new task for us to prepare all we've got for the upcoming Warped Tour. We will be riding in our van to every show on Warped Tour selling our CDs in the tour and playing a majority of the venues. Check back here for updates on our new songs and our tour updates.

Home Sweet Home

We are finally home after our 3 week tour. But of course, it hasn't lasted. Half the band is already on their way following the dates of the 2007 Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour. Some of you may haveseen us selling CD's at the tour and we are excited to meet even more people as we continue on the tour. Reno

We are here in Reno NV and we are just chilling at our Airport Best Western (very nice). Our checkout it at 2 so we are scrambling to clean up our stuff and get out of here. We will be promoting today throughout reno for our show tonight at Underground Club. Sorry to say it is 21 and over but if you are in the area you shoud come down and say hi....maybe get a cd. After the show we are off to Roseville and then Upland. California has missed us and we have missed California.

Washington

Its our second day in WA and we gladly await our show tonight at Funkytonk Records. Its free tonight so be sure to get down to kennewick WA and check out RDR and Verbatym. Zone was great and thank you so much for everyone who came down to the show, it was a blast.

Be sure to get your hands on the new RDR merch, they are selling like hot cakes....hot cakes that you wear as a t-shirt. Even if you are flat broke, come down and say hi at any of our shows. We love to hear from our fans.

RDR in Utah

Yo yo. RDR loves Utah. The snow, the shows, and the hogues (best sandwiches in town). After the great show in St George at the Electric theater, we left for Provo at Starry Night. This place is awesome and if you are ever in the area you should definitly check it out. We met a lot of great people and both Verbatym and RDR rocked it. Now we are chillin like villians in our hotel room watching Deal or No Deal and eating cold pizza. Hope to see your faces at our up coming shows. peace love and rdr.

Arizona

Here we are, in Arizona. The REAL Bar was a bust so we headed over to The Clubhouse bar and rocked it as the last minute, last band. We are here for another day until our next show and can update this blog whenever we can get enough internet. Of course ryan and danny can update the myspace with their new sidekicks. Stay tuned for the next post.

It's going down and it's going down now. Starting January 28th RDR will be hitting the road with their buddies in Verbatym to play up and down the West Coast.
